On the roofs of houses and businesses there are more than 3,600. This is what emerged during a workshop organized at the headquarters of the Industrial Union of Gallarate from Young Entrepreneurs
"Photovoltaics: the fourth energy bill" is the title of which represented the second round of review of the workshop "Energy: let's talk." Purpose: To provide practical advice to businesses, immediately usable within the organization to increase the energy efficiency of production sites. A sort of guide to the best investments, including the solar energy.
The PV is now a choice to be taken into account at least for its potential, those able to release the companies from the swing in energy prices in the markets. However, it was stressed that the exponential growth of the plants on the roofs of houses and Italian companies is favored by the strong policy incentives. An increase that Varese is no exception. On the contrary. In the province, according to data from the Energy Services Manager of GSE-spa, there are 3,623 plants with a total power equal to just over 63,500 kW. Only a year and a half ago, in March of 2010, there were 890 for a total of 8,600 kW.
Few other industries can boast such a growth. Between 2009 and 2010 witnessed a growth of plants and energy produced around 200%. In this scenario Lombardy stands out as one of the regions where the sun is gone: the highest number of power plants, and second, behind only to Apulia. In this scenario, the Lombard rate at high PV, Varese emerges as one of the provinces loyal to the solar option.
